Joint Implementation (JI) Project Hungary

Since 2004 in a consortium with Tanzer Consulting, FHA GmbH has been contracted by Saubermacher AG to perform a feasibility study for a JI Project for a landfill gas recovery project in several landfills in Hungary.

 

The Austrian JI/CDM Programme aims to make a contribution to achieving the Austrian reduction commitment under the Kyoto Protocol through the application of the project-related Flexible mechanisms, Joint Implementation and Clean Development Mechanism.

 

Within the scope of the Programme are:

• purchase of emission reduction credits from JI or CDM projects, which lead to avoidance or reduction of greenhouse gas emissions;
• financing of particular immaterial services, such as Baseline Studies etc., which are necessary with respect to JI or CDM projects.
